I had surgery yesterday. I'm in pain, but I can't tell if its CO2 or not. Does CO2 feel like bubbles? Any experience someone wants to share?

What surgery? Sleeve, RNY or ??

Pain is not surprising but hopefully they have you on some pain meds. If gas, walking may help. I walked a few laps every hour, even if I was awake in the middle of the night.

I didn't actually feel any pain from gas, I did feel discomfort around the incision sites and getting up and out of bed was difficult.

Sleeve. I don't know if I'm having CO2 pain or not. I am feeling bubbles sometimes when walking around. Not sure what it is.

Where exactly is your pain? I didn't have CO2 pain with my sleeve surgery, but I did with my gallbladder removal and the CO2 pain felt like aching between my shoulder blades and sometimes in my upper chest.

My pain seems to be mid abdomen. Its really bad when I wake up after sleeping through a dose of pain medicine, but once I take it, its better for the most part. I'm thinking I don't have any CO2 pain either. It doesn't seem to be moving 24 hour post surgery

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
