March 2021 Surgery Dates

Recommended Posts

I wasn’t able to find a March thread, so I guess I’ll start one. (If I missed it, someone let me know where to find it!)

I got scheduled for 25 March a few weeks ago. Found out today that insurance approved! Getting my COVID test on the 19th.

Any other March-ers??? Would be fun to have a place to share our experiences. :)

March 17th is when I had my surgery in Tijuana Mexico. Feeling great!

So glad to hear your positive feedback about your experience . I had surgery March 22 in Maryland. Doing well also. Wish I was losing weight faster, but I understand it’s a process. I keep asking my husband if I’m invisible yet... haha.

Hey y'all! How is everyone doing???? I am 6 weeks post- op now. I have been really lucky in that I had no real pain, got to go home several hours early the day after surgery, able to get back to work right away (not ideal but necessary), and every food phase has been okay. I hope everyone else is doing well too! I have two weeks until I am cleared to try anything I feel okay trying food-wise. As long as I can keep meeting my Protein requirements mostly through real food, it's all good!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
