Hi - I am new to the site. My sleeve surgery is scheduled for March 10th. Anyone else here set for March? I am super anxious but also looking forward to it. I had a lap band in 2009 and a slip in 2014 that required removal. Curious as to what your pre-op diet looks like. I am on partial liquids now and full liquids for two weeks before the surgery.

Surgery went well. Only pain has been from the gas they will you with during surgery. Walking does help a lot. I’ve been able to sip okay and hope to go home today after the dr comes by. I’ll keep everyone posted.

Well it’s been 24 hours since surgery. I’m a little sore, exhausted but resting. I just took a shower. I’ve gotten about 24oz down but it a struggle. So far no need for pain medicines. The gas pain is real but walk, walk, walk! It helps!! I’ll try to update regularly. By the way not hungry at all.

Hello! I am home after my surgery 3/1 & it went really well! Some annoying cramping and a couple sore spots that flare when I shift, but overall, I am super excited! Thanks for being here & so helpful.

March 22nd!! Had my preop consult today and only have to do a 5 day diet. No carbs 5 days prior and then switch to clear liquids and protein shakes 3 days prior.

My surgery was yesterday. I had a great experience feeling some gas pain today but its tolerable... good luck

Pre op diet starts TODAY! So I know it’s real. Still nervous since I don’t have insurance approval yet but doc isn’t concerned so neither am I ! March 17th will be here in no time!
