Am I losing too slowly?

Thank you all. I am having a day of frustration. In the last 2 weeks I have lost 3 lbs. Ok i did have a dumping incident where i could not eat for 3 days. I feel like a loser and not in the way I wish. I know it will happen but it does not make the process easier.

But you have lost 26.6kg in 2 months? That is like 60 pounds! That is a lot! Jump for joy, Girl!!!

I feel like I am losing slowly when I compare myself to others but in general I am okay with it. I have read that losing slowly gives your skin more time to adjust. I was really hoping by my one month check up that I would have lost more than 20lbs but oh well. I am still losing and that is was counts. I go to the gym 5 days a week which is great even though all I can do with the elliptical, treadmill or bike. I am there for an hour but that is mostly due to Covid and the gym limiting everyone to 60 minutes. I have lost 16lbs since my surgery and that is great!

I am 5 weeks post op and have lost 15 lbs. Is this on the lower end of losing? I don’t get much exercise in and am trying to work on that, but I feel a bit like I’m failing myself. Input is appreciated!

Isn't slower better, to keep from getting loose skin?

I don't know if it makes that much difference, to be honest. If people's skin is super stretched out and damaged, it's not going to bounce back. I suppose if the person isn't all that overweight to begin with, it might, though...

Yes, in general, slow is better for loose skin and for keeping it off. But as Catwoman stated, it does depend on how much weight is lost, age of the person, exercise, Water intake....these all affect the skin. If there is 100+ weight loss, there will be loose skin somewhere!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
