3 months out anger and mad at the world

Recommended Posts

It was around the same time I had a melt down. Your body is healing and it’s an adjustment. It is normal. I yelled at my husband for going to Red Lobster to eat without me. I couldn’t go. When he came home I yelled at him and then woke him up at 3:00 am and yelled at him again. I don’t usually yell at him- especially when we have agreed on something. What helped: It’s great to talk to someone and just vent. It is what helped me more than anything but I was pretty angry around that time. All I can say that it’s normal and it will get a lot better! Your body is adjusting to the new normal - especially if you had to fast before and after the surgery. It will pass!!

I know someone else mentioned it but maybe some low dose meds would help. If you can make an appt with your Dr to talk to your psychiatrist, they can help. I actually had hormonal shifts and anxiety before the surgery while losing weight during the program and they started me on 10mg Lexapro. It has helped tremendously.

I think anxiety is normal and it's good to logically get your head wrapped around it but honestly, I would try to get an appt with the Dr for that. There's a lot going on with everything and you are going through many changes. Hugs and hope everything goes easier for you soon.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
