I use Instagram a lot more than this app. So I figured why not see if others like it more as well.

I’d love to follow more people on insta! We can support each other’s journeys!

HI, I’m really new here still, but if you’re interested in following me I’m mil_unloaded over on IG. I’m 6 months from my surgery (approx!), so it would be nice to have people on IG that have been through it and can be supportive!

I should clarify (it won’t let me edit), I haven’t had my surgery yet. I should be having it in about 6 months (insurance hurdles)! But I’m happy to follow anyone that shares here because I’d love to see more about your process and progress!

I haven’t had surgery yet either! I started the insurance process in March and finally have my surgery date for July 28th!

That's perfectly fine! I did the same thing before my surgery- seeing other people going through it made me much braver about it in the end and the support from the instagram and bariatricpal community has been astounding!

Congrats to both of you! ❤️ You got this.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
