that is probably a sign that you are full. I know i get the hiccups when i am full.. if i get a runny nose i ate too much and i need to stay close to the bathroom!

Tank is full - Also i was eating to fast - Try slowing down with your food intake. They have guidelines to speed of eating but those are just that guidelines, for me i have to eat much slower to avoid the gas that causes burping. As you swallow food you are also taking in air, so slower eating = less air

I sneeze when I have eaten too much, that is probably what the burping is.

I found this information during my research. I plan on adopting it as my mantra because one of the reasons I got where I am at is by eating to fast. It is the 20-20-20 rule. Aim to eat 20 mouthful of food over an20 minute period, chewing each mouthful 20 times, putting down utensils between each mouthful.

I never really burped before. Now I burp like truck driver when I’m getting full or am full. I think it is good Back up sign for me to let me know I must stop eating.

I burp after every sip I take! Every. Sip. I'm only 4 days post op sleeve so I'm hoping this is something that will go away. Anyone else with similar experience?

Burping for me was clue when I was getting full. Not burping as much now. So I’m sure it will change for you too.

I burp 5 or 6 times about 15-20 minutes after I'm done eating.

Did this ever get better / change? I’m 6 days post op RNY and have been belching CONSTANTLY since the recovery room. So much so the nurse in recovery and my main nurse commented on it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
