I feel like i just cannnot meet my Water goals. Trying to drink that much, even spaced out makes me wanna vomit. Any tips? It’s only been a week since surgery so may w it just gets easier once i get to the next diet stage?

are you counting other fluids toward your goal, such as Protein Shakes? I counted all fluids.

I couldn't reach mine either but I tried and I stayed hydrated even though it was less than recommended.

You know your other liquids count as Water too, right? Iced tea, Protein Shakes, coffee - anything liquid counts as your water intake. Mix it up. Have some hot tea. Have some crystal light mixed in your water. I never drank straight plain water, I always used a sugar-free flavored additive. I still do.

Thanks guys! I figured it out. I was counting my shakes, but i wasn’t counting my broths and Soups, once i did things got MUCH closer to the goal.

I found I had challenges after surgery getting enough liquid. I was able to drink small 1 skim milk chai latte after the first week. I since then have added crystal light drinks to up my liquid intake and this got me through. I could always drink 1 glass of Water relatively easily but would get nauseous after that, but when I added the flavor to the water it became way easier.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
