I don't remember but don't go by anyone but yourself because everyone loses at a different rate and it will only make you miserable.

Thank you for that, I struggle with a few health conditions and hope it doesn’t affect my weight loss after surgery. 😔

18 pounds, but everyone is right, it is toxic to compare yourself to others. You'll usually end up discouraged. Hang in there!

Also remember that those who lose a lot, are more likely much heavier to start. I have a lower bmi to start and "only" lost 10 pounds I think... but 10 pounds is great too. And I am now 3 1/2 months out and already reached my docs weight goal for me and am less than 25 pounds away from MY goal weight. But again... I started with a lower BMI (36 at surgery). My experience will be different then many.

You are off to a great start then! So, at some point you will slow down/stall.... but if you stick to the prescribed plan then you will overcome the slow down/stall and start making progress again. Just try not to stress over the scale too much. Even when I stall, I am shrinking somewhere.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
