  • I don't remember but don't go by anyone but yourself because everyone loses at a different rate and it will only make you miserable.

I think it was about 44lbs

  • 18 pounds, but everyone is right, it is toxic to compare yourself to others. You'll usually end up discouraged. Hang in there! Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app

Thank you for that, I struggle with a few health conditions and hope it doesn’t affect my weight loss after surgery. ?

Also remember that those who lose a lot, are more likely much heavier to start. I have a lower bmi to start and "only" lost 10 pounds I think... but 10 pounds is great too. And I am now 3 1/2 months out and already reached my docs weight goal for me and am less than 25 pounds away from MY goal weight. But again... I started with a lower BMI (36 at surgery). My experience will be different then many.

You are off to a great start then! So, at some point you will slow down/stall.... but if you stick to the prescribed plan then you will overcome the slow down/stall and start making progress again. Just try not to stress over the scale too much. Even when I stall, I am shrinking somewhere.
