Weird things happening

Recommended Posts

So, every day, through out the day since surgery, my face has became really warm and flushed. No fever. Not dehydrated (well my urine is normal colored) and i take all of my Vitamins. I just “don’t feel good” like I feel absolute blah. I don’t know if this is normal or if it’s something else. Did anyone else experience this? I had my surgery on Monday, 9/9. Yes, I know I just had major surgery but I read other posts and people seem like they are going for a 2 mile jog. I’m a worry wart.

I have no idea how old you are but WLS can bring on early menopause. Could it be a hot flash? Oh, I see you're 24. Bad guess. Good luck figuring it out.

I get the same way and my surgery was 9/4. I am barely taking longer walks. And when I do I am wiped out. Everyone is different. Go at your own pace.

Not surgery related but I get those symptoms both from blood sugar fluctuations and when my thyroid levels are not right.

I think this is normal. You aren't eating. You just had major surgery. I remember how EXHAUSTED I got from just taking showers. I couldn't eat much at all. I had no will to eat during the first few weeks. Like after I got out of the shower, I had to rest before I could even put on my clothes. I had no pain or anything, just weakness. It gets better with time. I am 8 months out and feel energized. I eat around 600-800 calories and workout everyday.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
