You can always get back on track. Always! I’m sorry for your loss. I bet your parents are rooting for you. Just go back to the basics. Maybe star with two or three days on a liquid diet then do small portions and healthy Snacks. Loosing weight after surgery is easier than before surgery so you got this.

I’m sorry you are dealing with the loss of your parents, that is tough. Remember to be kind to yourself and go back to basics.

lots of Water, some exercise, healthy tasty food and reach out here and to your friends for emotional support.

if you can speak with a nutritionalist to find out what else you can do related to your food/fuel needs

One of the worst things about no LONGER having your parents and Those You Lived is so much is happening in Your LIFE and you no longer have them to share it with. I hope if there is truly a Heaven as I was taught, that they are watching, applauding , maybe. even telling others " That's my GIRL, look how she's doing, look at ALL she is accomplishing NOW!" Oh I DO HOPE somehow they ARE PROUD!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
