Yet Another Stall Complaint Thread

Recommended Posts

Yeah. I know. Everyone stalls. Everyone has this issue. That doesn't make it any less annoying or any less frustrating to see around the same number on the scale, to see the fluctuation up and down. I'm not sure I'm actually on a stall or if this is just fluctuation, but I weigh literally the same I did last Monday today. I was lower yesterday. Of course, last Monday was a minimum on the fluctuation, whereas today is slightly higher than yesterday.

I'm just frustrated because I'm not eating a heck of a lot in general, though last week I was getting about 1000-1100 calories in a day (while hitting my Protein goals of 75+g.)

I’m right there with you! It is very, very frustrating. I guess the only thing we can do is keep doing what we’re doing and try to have patience. Wishing you the best.

Yep, stalled here since forever. Afraid I'm at maintenance but didn't lose enough weight yet/didn't think I was done losing weight.

I’ve gone days with the scale saying the same weight. Then usually a drop. But This week seems the longest run, five days and it dropped by mere ounces only to go back up again this morning. I track every day and can’t seem to pinpoint anything that triggers when the drop happens or why. I struggle with metabolic disorders and insulin resistance. I track calories and Protein but not carbs, I’d say it’s been very low carb though. The most sugar I get is from my gummy vitamins. It’s frustrating, and even if we know we aren’t alone in it, it’s still hard. My weight has always done this kind of stall I’m just afraid I will hit a wall at some point and not even get close to goal. Except I have split my goals in to three. The first is to no longer be considered obese ... I just feel like it wants to evade me. But maybe that’s just all my frustrations with everything I can’t control and I want one thing I can.

This is me also. No matter how much I tell myself stalls are normal, seeing the same number after all my workouts and clean eating is so frustrating

My doc told me I've lost 70% of my excess body weight, so she doesn't expect me to lose much more. I'm like hell nah, I've still got 40 lbs to go!

Yeah Like I posted a couple weeks ago, PCP says I am at 68.3% weight loss, He only expected 70%, sorry Son , you're getting me mixed up with the VSG folks , Bypassers can and do lose up to 85% comfortably, like you I have a little more to go to My Own Goal, I'm within 15 pounds and I AM NOT STOPPING WHEN I'M THAT CLOSE!!!! Don't Get Mad, Don't get Sad , Be Glad and Cheer ME on! And I DO NOT THINK THAT IS TOO MUCH TO REQUEST! After all I turned out on this roadway to be🚗THE LITTLE JALOPY THAT COULD! BEEP BEEP GLORY-GLORY BEEP BEEP.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
