My surgery was on May 7 and I feel so good now! I'm back to work this week (took 2 weeks off) and I was tired the first few days. Luckily I'm able to work from home some of the time, so I worked from home and took lunch time naps. At my two week checkup my surgeon told me to get some B12 and I don't need to nap as much now.
Sip sip sip!
So glad you're doing well. My sleeve was May 21st. Getting in my hydration and started on Protein Shakes today. Feeling fuller quicker than with Clear Liquids. Still gassy as well. But all is good. Good luck

Had my surgery April 29. 2019.....its real...advice: it's tough but this too shall pass.

Take your Vitamins and try to get your Water in. The "soul snatcher is real". (Constipation)

I went in at 275 to date 5/25...244.

Best of luck to you all👍

The first night was a nightmare. I questioned what I had done. Lol

Same! My first full 24 hours were bad. Pain has been manageable since then. Had two nights of good sleep too.

Had my surgery on May 14, 2019. Definitely more than I expected but I'm glad I did it. Already down 55lbs in 3 weeks. Currently in the puree stage and hating every minute of it! lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
