Are you looking for the BariatricPal Store? Go now!

Help a Dummy out please :)

Recommended Posts

Okay, I am pretty new here and I am figuring out some of the features of the forums. (To say I am NOT a techie would be the understatement of the year.)

A few times, after I post something, some random words are underlined in my post. I did not underline them myself, they were not underlined before I posted and I can't edit them to be not underlined after I post.

Maybe I am just losing my mind? 😰 ( Y'all could totally gaslight me right now and just tell me they aren't there, that you don't see anything! LOL!)

Is there somewhere on here that explains all of the features like reputation, linking etc.? Again not very tech savvy, so I might have just missed it.

Thanks for helping this CRaZy out!

(I did underline that one myself, lol!)

Thanks Maury for that statenent, it happens to us all and I don't have an explaination either. Maybe Ken S, our Tech Guru or Alex Brecher, our Bariatric Pal founder can explain.👈😜👉

The underlines indicate that the forum software has linked that word to items in the Bariatric Pal Store. Sometimes the links make sense, other times they are ridiculous.

Okay! Thanks everyone for both the help AND for not pretending I was the only one seeing those random underlines.

(Though that would have been totally funny!) :)

^This^

It's nothing you did, it's just the website. (:

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
