Does anyone else feel like it’s surreal? I’m just going about my life as if I’m not having surgery in a few weeks. I’m trying to get my thoughts on order but I don’t even know where to start with prep

  • How are my fellow February sleevers doing? Haven't heard much from you guys in awhile! I'm 7 weeks out, feeling good, and adapting well to my forever diet. I lost 22 lbs. on the 2 week pre

Follow the liquid diet plan your drs have given you. I'm so happy I did. I had my surgery yesterday with no complications. It only took an hr and half. I'm extremely sore but I'm doing great. I will be released today. My dr was so pleased with how far I've come and in my recovery. My throat is sore so I've had popcicles and ice cold Water. That helps so much. I had some discomfort with heart burn in my chest and grogginess from anesthesia. I'm still pretty high from the pain killers they have given me so I hope this helps and makes sense lol Good luck guys! I'm in the biggest loser club!!

Hi! I just had surgery on Monday, and I would agree that I'm sore and my throat is sore but other than that I feel OK. I have gotten nauseous a few times if I've tried to take my meds or vitamins to quickly together.

Are you on liquid diet now again for 2 weeks post op? I am. I'm just trying to sip water and drink protein shakes. We will see how it goes today :)

I have my surgery on Monday. On day 10 of liquid diet - its hard but I am lost 16 lbs. already so that keeps me going. Those of you who had the surgery this month - Queenbee34 , Hopping To It , princess boo , Lisa12345 , sjemle , Be Blessed , Boldilocks , myriam569 , bethechange2012, Bonzers - How did it go? How are you doing now?

I am on for 2/11 and just started pre op diet today due to lower BMI. Going strong! I feel low energy and have a slight headache. I know I will be starving come 8:00 so I plan on just going to sleep.

I'm not gonna lie, its not easy, but you got this! Mine is 2 weeks all liquid, its a struggle but stepping on the scale each day makes it worth it.

I'm almost to my 1st week post op. SF Popsicles were my friend the first 3 days to help with the sore throat. Make sure to walk around too. My surgery was Feb 1st and I went back to work Feb 5th on half days. It hasn't been horrible. My stomach looks like I've been in fight club but I'm already down 12 lbs since surgery. So I'm excited about that.

I just got approved after 5 days. Got a call today that my surgery is on Wednesday the 13th! Yes one week!!! It happened so fast. Liquid diet one week, no birth control. How overwhelmed were you guys when you got your date?

I am schedule on the 11th also. Hang in there I have to do two week liquid diet and I have low BMI. It took about two days for the low energy and head to go away every it got better.
