  1. Anyone on pureed food yet? I have one more week of liquids. And i'm getting antsy to taste something other than liquids
  2. I'm right where you are. Surgery was on the 4th, i'm getting about 60 ounces of fluid and then the 3 shakes a day. I'm ready to eat something though other than liquids!
  3. How are my early Feb sleevers? I had VSG on Feb 4th, feeling pretty good today. Still have incision pain, but if I wear an abdominal binder during the day it seems to help. I'm doing pretty good getting liquids in, I just get pain when I take too big of sips........still learning I didn't exepct to feel hungry though! I'm hungry all day long! And not head hunger, because I actually feel hungry enough to eat a vegetable LOL I have one more week of being on liquids until i can move to pureed foods, i can't wait My stomach has been making some really interesting sounds though. My kids can hear it across the room Hope everyone is doing good!!
  4. Just curious what to expect for the first 2-3 weeks post-op. I'm day 2 post-op, still sore and still have gas pains from surgery, but I'm hoping every day will get better! I'm so afraid to drink too much water or protein shakes and then get sick, but I want to make sure I'm hydrated. I have a desk job and was planning on going back on Monday which will be one week post-op. Am I crazy to think that? Am i going to feel OK just after a week's time of rest at home? Just wondering how everyone else's experience was Amy
  5. Hi! I just had surgery on Monday, and I would agree that I'm sore and my throat is sore but other than that I feel OK. I have gotten nauseous a few times if I've tried to take my meds or vitamins to quickly together. Are you on liquid diet now again for 2 weeks post op? I am. I'm just trying to sip water and drink protein shakes. We will see how it goes today
  6. Going in tomorrow!!!! Anyone else? I'm getting very excited.....
