Surgery day February 13th as of a few min ago I’m down 37 lbs so far protein and this terrible taste in my mouth were my only issues until yesterday when I started getting light headed when I stood up every so often luckily no pain meds since leaving hospital and sugar free popsicles are my bff...good luck everyone

Since surgery on 13th I’m doing good energy wise yesterday I could tell I was overdoing so had to take little pain meds..no other pain...2 BM’s so far...struggling with liquids ...start full liquids tomorrow so I’ll know more about Protein then

I am 2 days post op and feel good bedsides gas pains and forcing myself to get liquids in...just make sure you have your liquids with you for the trip

I felt ok yesterday no gas pains but I was nauseous and throwing up blood from the surgery... it wasn’t painful just annoying because I had to stay until I was able keep liquids down which wasnt until around 430pm

Going good so far just gas pains vomited a few times but it wasn’t bad at just sipping and walking

I’m alive! Lol everything went great just dealing with gas pains

Well I’ll be checking in the hospital at 645am...feels surrreal but I’m ready to get the ball rolling...I’m more anxious than nervous but that may change over the next 8 hours I’ll try to update you guys tomorrow...I’ll whisper a prayer for everyone

Well day 2 of pre-op liquid diet is almost over and I know this is weird but I’m not really hungry (praise the lord) lol hopefully this will continue and I can make it to my surgery day on feb 13th...good luck everyone

Small world Dr miles is doing my surgery on the 13th...I found 100 calorie muscle milk drinks they are good also premier protein is good

I’m a 32 year old husband and father I love to crack jokes and I coach my son in football basketball and baseball...yeah we stay busy I work as a Police, fire, and 911 dispatcher I love technology and sports

I’ll tell you if I can come up with anything gonna try and work on it tonight

Liquid diet starts tomorrow...wish me luck. I ate a big juicy steak last night as a farewell fat boy meal lol

I am on the 13th too. woohoo .I'm going to the grocery store today to prepare myself I start liquids on the 6th.

Hi I’m on my b1 and b12 vitamins now and I start my preop diet February 6th...I’m kinda dreading it but excited to start the journey...my surgery date is February 13th not sure when I’ll get my other vitamins

My nutritionist said that it’s a normal sign of being full

My surgery is February 13th and I took off for 12 days and plan on going back on a Wednesday like earlier suggested. I work in Police/fire dispatch so not necessarily a desk job but not really physically taxing either...good luck!

6 months will flyby I feel like I just started my 6 months and they’re already over and I’m having my surgery on February 13th...good luck to you

May Doctor appointment and surgery February 13th and I changed my mind for about a month or so before I started all the testing for insurance I have bcbs of Alabama once I got everything in it only took 4 days to get approval
