Anyone scheduled for December yet?

  • Popular Post

I have a tentative VGS surgery date of December 14th. Anyone else scheduled for December yet? Lots of questions to come, I’m sure, but also looking for people to go through this together.

I am scheduled for the 17th as well. My wife and I will be heading down a couple days beforehand. looking at everyone else.....you all look skinny to me. I have no real goal yet.....just don't want to die!

Just take it one day at a time. Don't worry about goals yet. When you're ready to set a goal, you will. Good luck with the surgery, I'll be pulling for you. I'm having mine on the 4th of December!

I feel like my program is a little backwards. I’ve had all the pre-op testing, and it all just got submitted to insurance for approval. Haven’t met with a surgeon yet, and don’t have a date, but I’m really hoping to have it (VSG) before December 31 as I’ve met all my insurance deductibles for the year.

Mine is Dec 4. In UK so on the NHS. Don’t know if Bypass or Sleeve As have serious adhesions. Surgeon has said he will try Bypass but may have to be Sleeve. I will be grateful for either. Mine will be open surgery not keyhole.
Me!! December 17th!

We have the same surgery date!

I have a tentative surgery date of 12/17

I have a tentative date of December 6. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I have seen a lot of people speaking of their pre-op visit with the hospital. I have not done that. My Dr has not mentioned it to me. Is that pretty standard for this surgery? Do I need to be concerned?

I'm hoping for dec 26th. Did the psych testing last night all good. I have to quit smoking soon!

December 26th is my Birthday, @Jean9, what a neat birthday ?? present for you and me by extension. we will both have something to celebrate that day! Happy SURGIBIRTHDAY to YOU in Advance!???
