Yes, on the 30th of this month I will be 59 years old, I'm an old country boy that was raised by my grandparents who were born again Christians. They taught me to respect others and brought me up in the ways of the Lord.

A little over 22 years ago the Lord graciously and mercifully save me, in other words I became a born-again child of God, filled with His Spirit.

In 1998 the Lord called me into the ministry to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world.

I'm an old time Baptist preacher who still believes the only way to heaven is through and by Jesus Christ the Son of the only true and living God, the God of all heaven and earth, and the creator of the fullness thereof.

If I can be of any help to you or anyone else spiritually, please feel free to email me at brotherron98@gmail.com

I dont believe in those fairytales.

Before this gets out of control, I would like to say, I'm sure this site is not intended to be a place to debate things of this nature, that's why I gave my email address, so please, in respect to others on this site let's don't go there.

The only reason I replied was because you asked the question, I replied out of respect to you, whether you believe or not is certainly you're right.

I hope there is no hard feelings between us, the preacher

Well I am greatful to meet and you @boardlady and @The Preacher, among all the youngins here I am overjoyed for people a little closer to my age. And The Preacher, among my friends I thank Our God there are many Bible-Believing Baptists, the true"salt of of the earth" May I gently tease you a little? Went to a funeral, preacher got up, after a short eulogy, lit into a salvation sermon. I'm there thinking W.O.E( what on earth) I don't believe this! 5 of the, people attending shortly after died, I know 4 found Jesus through that, before their final day. So I think we can't second-guess God, that was the right thing at the right time. Lets agree to keep serving👣,in our way- the retirement is out of this world! 😛

I'm so glad to see you're doing well, I'm praying for your continued success!

Concerning the preacher at the funeral, examples like that is exactly why it's so crucial for a preacher to listen to the Holy Spirit, he must be willing no matter what the circumstances are, no matter where he is, he must be willing to do what God wants him to do.

We need more spirit filled preaches today, those that are willing to stand and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world, no matter the cost, even if it means our life.

May God richly bless you! The Preacher.

Preacher this is not a website for you to be peddling and advertising your religious beliefs. This is a website for and about weight loss surgery. I personally find your comments offensive as I am a non-believer. I am a former Christian and intend on staying that way. Please keep your views to yourself.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
