I had my surgery on the 9th and I am eating soft foods. I am eating pretty much any meat and just making sure it is juicy. I have been eating vegetables some too, but that's about it. All of the sugar free stuff makes me feel nauseous now so I'm not having any of that anymore.

What type of vegetables

I’m not allowed steak or any beef products until the 6th month mark.. grr it’s rough but I too have felt like I stalled as soon as I started real food.. I have stuck with chicken, tuna, and eggs. I may have a bite of something here and there but I have not cheated like I could have.. I have even been walking over 10000 steps a day for the month of August. I had the sleeve procedure on July 10. Help!!

Hi there. I had the sleeve July 10th also and feel as though once I started real food my weight loss slowed. It’s frustrating. Are you taking in enough fluids? That’s the biggest thing I read about on these boards-how important fluids are to aid in the weight loss process. Other than that, not sure what else we can do except wait it out.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
