That was the first one I tried, honestly I prefer the wheat.

Good to know. I think that's what I'm going to get after I go through my stash.

Have you tried toasting it, cover with lowfat cream cheese and sprinkle with "everything " seasoning? Mmmmmmm so good!😋😋😋

I've had it with cream cheese once but no bagel seasoning ! Why didn't I think of that 🧐

Breakfast today: The usual avo toast with a scrambled egg, fruit with almond butter and another egg on the side. This was a much better balance and I was full.

Also took a couple bites of my bfs chia seed pudding bowl.

Went to our local farm today and picked some apples off the trees and I bought five spaghetti squash’s they freeze beautiful. I put them in one and two oz containers. And I toasted up some of the seeds for Snacks. I only cooked 2 squash so I have three left. Yum this is my favorite I mix it with everything. Best part there so fresh and they taste sooo much better then the ones you find in supermarkets.

Meet my new rice cooker mini. It can cook up to 3.5 cups of dry rice (brown rice a bit less). If this thing is good I'm going to invest into the bigger version for batch cooking because my husband is already interested in taking the mini one home with him, lol.

Black & White sticky rice made in my new rice cooker. Curry with yellow paste, coconut milk, green Beans, shiitake mushrooms, red onions, tofu and rehydrated soy strips.

The rice cooks up to a really beautiful color, almost purple.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
