What is everyone's "staple food"?

I always have on hand beef Jerky, and I that is my go-to. In my bags, at work, my car - you name it. What does everyone else "snack" on throughout the day?

Those little burdens lifted are golden, I promise 👑

I guess I was wondering if all of the changes from WLS were a stressor. But sorry it didn't work out ❤ however I'm certain you'll have plenty of options 😎

Wait? WHAAAT? have you looked at yourself in the mirror? You even look like you have confidence. Be proud of where you are, and the new you!

I had to really think about this. I rotate foods in and out often but I consistently purchase Nuts/trail mix & Protein Bars followed by eggs, salad greens and tea

But at meals i think im stressing so much about what im eating that im not focusing on my environment and the people. My ex actually brought this up once too. So, at somepoint do you kind of let go of the things because it just becomes a habit and eating well isnt a task anymore? Im not sure if this makes sense or not.

I think 2-3 months AFTER I stopped weight loss phase was when I relaxed quite a bit. I mean, I still log everything and and avoid certain things to an extent (I'm looking at you bread), but I don't have the stress/anxiety/worry associated with it anymore. I eat indulgent foods sometimes (I'm looking at you dessert), and I don't feel so very bad about it.

It's just my new normal, I guess.

K, so when @GreenTealael mentioned her eating window to be 20-30 mins, I wanted to see what I could get in in 20 minutes.

So here is today's first meal (and it's progress...)

Salad greens w/ vinaigrette + carrots + pickled beets + 3 oz roast pork + 1 tbsp crunchy garlic chili oil + the insides of the Kid's half eaten curry chicken wrap (1.5 oz grilled chicken, mayo, celery, spices, cheddar cheese)

271 cals - 31g Protein - 15g NET carbs - 13g fat

Ate it all (eventually), except for the big chunk of cheese that I found unappetizing...

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
