What's your non-scale victory?

Recommended Posts

So what's a non-scale victory for you? I guess at 10 weeks out I'm still new with my sleeve, but I could FINALLY wear my bra without my bra extenders! I don't think that's happened in 8 years! I can also wear my engagement ring!

Looking forward to no MORE bra extenders, that will mean I'm a real size not a "Make Do"!!!😝👍

I can fit in the bathing suit I bought last year from Amazon that was too snug and felt uncomfortable when I wore it.

Went to a waterpark this weekend and felt pretty good wearing a swimsuit. I was also able to ride around in an inner tube on the lazy river. :)

Two weeks out, put my “regular” bra on and didn’t need the extender. I was so excited. Also was able to wear the beautiful watch that my husband bought for me. I haven’t been able to clasp that in a couple of years now.

Being able to do cartwheels.

Having my youngest nephew throw his arms around my entire waist and squeeze as hard as he can.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
