FatBlocker reacted to RHCD in Secret sleevers?Local close friends and very close coworkers I told leading up to the surgery. Then once it became noticeable my local friends checked if I was okay and that they could see a change I’d tell. Similar to at work.
Family found out when they see me not by social media or even a call. Although now that at 4 months my mom knows the whole family will know in a few days.
I’ve posted nothing on social media other than pics of me and plan to keep it that way. -
FatBlocker reacted to Kjohnson*1 in Secret sleevers?I’ve been waiting all day to have my surgery, looks like now it’s gonna be 7pm. I’m so ready to get this show on the road! I’ll be looking to all of you for support and sharing my experiences as well. -
FatBlocker got a reaction from CrankyMagpie in Secret sleevers?I’ve lost 45 pounds and can’t keep quiet anymore because I’m constantly being asked what I’m doing to lose weight and I would never lie. -

FatBlocker reacted to GreenTealael in Can we talk about staying hydrated?Early on it's harder but setting reminders and goals make it possible. All fluids count toward your hydration goal but water is superior and essential so you need the majority of it to be pure additive free water. I found drinking hot items like tea, coffee even broth went quicker than pure water making it easier to real the goal.
I'm currently 10 months out and can drink like before surgery.

FatBlocker reacted to magpie26 in Losing while eating???I had a three week stall, and I think an 8 week stall (both fairly short) and now I'm in my worst one I have ever had, those other ones were annoying but this one is what the vets talk about. It totally happens, we do everything right and they happen. Don't worry, your body will get used to this and everything will be fine.

FatBlocker reacted to J San in Losing while eating???Don't let the weight control your emotions. You will stall, slow down, plateau and gain. Your taking in food now not just liquid so your body has to adjust. Don't eat less or stick to liquids because your body will go into starvation mode and you'll stop losing for sure.

FatBlocker reacted to Malcy in Losing while eating???I am glad you posted this question. I am 1 month post op and am in a stall also. I'm feeling a little anxious about moving into soft foods.

FatBlocker reacted to sillykitty in Losing while eating???Of course it works. Look at my tracker below, or @Orchids&Dragons tracker, and tons of others.
Stalls happen. They happen when you are perfectly on plan. Weight loss is not linear. You will need to focus on the big picture, I've lost X lbs this month, vs. I haven't lost any weight in two days. Perspective will keep you from going crazy.

FatBlocker reacted to Orchids&Dragons in Losing while eating???Almost everyone hits a stall when they change phases. It's perfectly normal, though annoying. Just stick with your plan and the weight loss will start up again.
