Some good news for once, I am to be employed soon doing an IT contract helping to move in 300 new computers and offices at Riverside Hospital! I see a silver lining finally, such a relief this is. It's good to help others doing what I love and get paid 16 an hour doing so! When this contract ends, it possibly could lead to other in-house IT employment! Yey!

Congratulations on the new job. I work in IT too, it’s a challenging but awesome area to work in. Love getting involved in all the new technology and developing easy to use systems for our end users.

I love helping folks out as well :) (Though Apple needs to get on the stick with some innovative stuff because for real they just suck now, they need to bring back the bean bag chairs or something overpriced and now one cannot even upgrade RAM it's permanently soldered in)

IT MGR here. I love my job. I was able to do my sleeve and go back to work with only 3 days off and a weekend. I had Surgery last Wednesday back to work yesterday. I have to get my staples, all 35 out tomorrow.

Congratulations on the job. Tips, don't settle for pay less than a guy nor let anyone treat you differently because you are a woman. Remember your time and effort is just as valuable or even more so if you are a mom!.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
