Did you have the bypass or sleeve? Can you give details on how you think your eating post surgery? As someone who needed a revision, you may wanna visit your doc again. Otherwise, maybe we can help here if you explain further

I am eating a lot of things I shouldn’t and I have no restrictions

Most likely you have no restriction because you are eating things you shouldn’t be. I would start with doing liquids for like a week, then start eating again with better choices: Protein first, low carb and try to eliminate sugar.

If you do that for a while and nothing changes, I would see your nutritionist/surgeon again

I am sorry you are going through this. Calling the nutritionist is a great idea. Take it one day at a time, one healthy meal at a time. My favorite meal website is skinnytaste. Check it out, healthy food can be yummy too.

You lose weight in the kitchen and keep it off in the gym. More exercise might help. Exercise motivates me to eat better for sure.

It isn't easy and you sound like you are stressed. Post a little more info and everyone might be able to be more helpful.

Hang in there!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
