My goal was getting to 120lb which I have accomplished 1 year post-op which I was very happy with but the problem now, I keep dropping weight. U am now down to 113 lbs. I have tried eating more small frequent meals throughout the day which doesn't seem to be working. Has anyone else out there had this problem and if you did what was your solution? I don't want to get to thin (never thought I ever would be saying I don't want to get to thin....lol)

Have you increased your carb intake? Maybe increase your carbs 10g/day to see what happens after a week.

I would increase your healthy carbs by 10g a week to find your happy spot.

Nuts can easily increase your caloric intake HOWEVER please talk to your Surgeon, NUT etc because medical advice is best coming from your medical team there maybe something important that needs to be addressed.

There's always McD's french fries, homemade bread and butter, and chocolate sundaes. LOL Kidding:)

Tealael's advice is spot on....take your food journal and go see your doc and nutritionist. You might just need to up your calories, but something else might be going on, too. Best to get some help investigating what's going on and get some safe solid answers.

Let us know what you find out. Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
