Pearldrop, try journaling. On sundays we have the family over for dinner, and this past Sunday while everyone was eating, i had my Jello and wrote in my journal. It didnt take long for the feeling that i wanted food to pass. It works for me. Im on day 10 of a 14 day liquid diet, surgery is tuesday the 29th

I just had my surgery on Monday and this preop diet was the hardest thing for me. I couldn’t go through with it and I ate eggs for Breakfast and plain salmon for dinner [emoji87] the last two days after my surgery I did liquids to make sure everything was empty in there. Good luck guys you are almost on the other side.

This liquid diet is ridiculously difficult for me. My blood sugars are jacked up and I just wanna eat alllll the things. I’ve cheated the last couple days. Yesterday I ate some romaine lettuce and chicken and did the same today. Oh, and I’ve had coffee all week. I’m super blowin it

Horrible!!! Four Bariatric Advantage shakes a day and 2cups approved veggies... I hate sweets and the shakes are sickly so. Plus I have a toddler and a preschooler whom I have to still cool for. I feel so bad giving them freezer meals but it's all I can manage right now.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
