TMI - liquid diet side affects?

Pink Nova, no shame in that game, you gave it (and gave, and gave) your best shot, no fault it happened the way it did. If God didn't like variety we would all have been created the same. UPDATE: So I went for my pre-surgical appointment yesterday and was told that my body was not tolerating the shakes and going to the washroom 20+ times a day with the runs was not normal. They gave me an alternative meal plan for my last two weeks. It’s basically a high Protein, low carb low fat plan. Although I was super excited to have food again, I feel guilty for not following through the liquid diet. Either way, I’m glad they figured out what was wrong and now my stomach doesn’t hurt anymore. Yay! lol

Better to find this out now than post-op when you'd likely have ended up dehydrated! No guilt!

I just posted that the same was happening to me. I will be calling my Dr. I was discouraged because this is not good and I was worried that they would push me off! There was emphasis on liquid diet to shrink the liver . Glad there is an alternative. So relieved!
