Has anyone eaten baby food for the puréed food? Just wondering.

Is so did you make it yourself or buy it off the shelf?

My doctor's office recommended it, but I saw so much of it when my kids were little that it was a no-go for me!

I remember tasting it once when my kids were babies. Never doing that again.... LOL. I mean baby food fruit is fine. I tried peas and it was nasty. WICKED NASTY.

I bought Gerber Blueberry Buckle, baby, food. Now I 💙 blueberries, clear back from muffin-hood. They were my kids, they would ❤it too. Wrong, not a 1 of the3 did, so I poured,it,over top of vanilla ice cream. And to this day,if I bake a blueberry, pie, I have to eat it all. Well I wanted to, anyway! But I was nice and offered anyway.

I did make my daughter’s baby food. I never bought the store stuff. Too bad I don’t still have the recipes. Thank goodness for Pinterest now!

I bought the weird jars of Gerber Toddler Turkey Sticks. (they look like Vienna Sausages) They're bland as hell....but during soft foods stage, they were a gentle snack with lots of Protein.

They're like...100 calories for a jar of them...and 9g of protein.

I found them much easier to tolerate than real turkey or chicken at first.

Wouldn't eat them now....cause...bleh! LOL. But during soft food reintroduction, they were wonderful.

I did buy a few jars of honey crisp purée apples. They were low in sugar and delicious. I did not try meats or vegetables.

I just made my own carrots tonight when I made some Bone Broth if my liquids. Put them in the freezer for the purée stage.

If I hate them, I'll use them to hide the dog's pills!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
