LJM Screw 'em you can't win for losin with some people. Just state your mind, tell it like it is and if they can't take the truth, well when reality comes back to bite them in the ass you can smile and nod and just say 'told ya so'.

If it counts I think you are a total sweetheart.

georgia,

LOVE the new profile pic!! you look mahvelous!

Aww, thanks! I've been hesitant to post any new pics because I haven't lost any weight lately but I think I've lost some inches.

Ya'll keep your fingers crossed that I don't have a leak. I haven't been able to hold restriction and I lost quite a bit of Fluid (.75cc in a 2 month period) so I'm getting checked again at the end of the month.

Georgia, your new pics ARE super cute!

I hope you don't have a leak. For some reason I think I might too, but thats probably just my hypochondria.

Thanks Susan and LilMiss! I am hoping it was just a miscalculation somewhere. But, it's second time I've lost Fluid so I dunno? Anyway, thanks for the good thoughts....keep 'em coming, lol.

 Big Macs 4 days post-op? I'd bet she's back in a few months posting, "Why can't I lose weight?" So stupid.

I've been worried about a leak too. I had my third fill yesterday. After my last fill, I swear I had less restriction after than I did before, even the day of. This one feels better, so I'm hoping there isn't a problem. I was convinced I'd slipped or stretched my pouch--when I got on the xray table, I was shaking because I was so nervous. Yeah, I'm a little bit of a hypochondriac.

GG I'll keep my fingers crossed its not a leak too.

Drs aren't always 100% focused I've learned!....somewhere along the way I had an extra 0.5mls put in. I ended up with a slight slip and needed a total unfill and was shocked to learn there was 8ml in there rather than the 7.5 I thought I'd had for months and months!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
