So will somebody answer me? Am I the only one having trouble getting

LBT to come up. I got this page can not be displayed again this morning.

You can't go to the old direct links any more because all the links changed yestserday. You need to make new ones if you have certain subforums bookmarked.

Who has jumped off the Empire State Building and lived? I know it's dangerous...especially without a parachute, but I saw this guy on TV do it and I'd like to try it....will it mess up my band?

Gloucester, I am POSITIVE it won't mess up your band. It's made out of silicon, you know.

Oh good grief, I just can't even bring myself to post in this thread. A waffle, Cereal and a big mac all within a few days of being banded.

It's really hard to answer those people that say if I could control my eating I wouldn't have needed surgery. I wish all the doctors would explain in detail why it's necessary to have a post op diet and follow it to the letter.

Im sure the band will be the only recognizable thing left.

This person says she was banded in Mexico and the doctor didn't tell her anything about a post-op diet. I just find it hard to believe that she was discharged without being told what diet she should follow.

Been there, done that Sick. I had the F*ing bitch stewardess call across the cabin for a seat belt extender when I needed it. I wanted to crush her head with my foot.

SHUT THE F UP!!! I woulda been very catty and said in my smart ass best, "Thank you SO much" and then woulda rolled my eyes.

I had on a sweater set today and had 2 stewardesses ask me if I was buckled (even while faking being asleep). The shit was not buckled but I faked it. By the time I got in tonight, it had taken 6ish hours to get from Chicago to Atlanta when that crap shoulda taken 1.5! Aieee - SickNTired is just Tired now! :wink2:

Denise - Chicago really was great. We got in/out before the heat wave came; it was only around 83 as the high. As many times as I've visited Chicago, I always forget just how awesome their architecture is. I love it! (Keep in mind I'm pre-banded....we ate at Giordano's; it was killer!)

I'm not even gone 2 days and y'all have 4 new pages on this thread!

But lavender, bath, tried it all....nothing works...

I'm so solly. OTC sleeping pills and/or Ambien don't even work?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
