I didn't see that thread. Are you sure the "per day" wasn't a typo? Or is this another "sucess" story?

Maybe it was meant to be per meal but it said "day". I sent you a PM.

Do you ever take a bath before going to bed to try to relax? Also, what about lavendar? That's all the suggestions I have (besides OTC pills!). :-/

My pre-banded ass hates airplane seats. I'm going to Chicago on an EARLY f'n flight and dread it. Call me "bitter, party of one"

Hope it gets better BBK...I feel for ya.

Been there, done that Sick. I had the F*ing bitch stewardess call across the cabin for a seat belt extender when I needed it. I wanted to crush her head with my foot.

But lavender, bath, tried it all....nothing works...

bbk - i'm in the same boat as you. no matter what time i go to bed; i'm up at 4am - and i'm online seeing you posting earlier than me.

last month i had a full OB workup - am pre-menopausal along with rapid weighltoss my hormones are off the hook. got put on some meds that have helped tremendously. i am still up at 4, but feel restful no matter what time i went to bed (usually around 9). i realize that time may not be feasible to some - but i generally have early days running a ranch & them damn roosters go off at the same time.

check w/your OB - get that chemistry checked....best of luck!

i tried ambien and the other popular one...i forgot the name.. and i find i do better with 2-3 generic benadryl as with anything else. got 2 huge bottles at sam's club.

Oh, I have the same problem. I have had insomnia for years. I take different meds or I would not sleep at all. I usually take Ambien, but since my ins. will only let me have 14 pills per month, I have to take Restoril on the other nights. I got sick of being awake all night and gave in to the drugs.

I hate airline seats too. Now I do fit into them. Barely. But I swear my legs have NO ROOM. And I'm 5'1" tall!

Also, other people have no concept of personal space. I don't know how many times the people on either side of me have spilled into my seat and taken my armrests even though they were not even morbidly obese. Jerks.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
