How are fellow March sleevers doing?

I’m up and around and feeling fine. I sure am hungry, though. Real, not head hunger. I’m averaging 90 G Protein and 600 calories. Down 11 lbs since 4/19.

I have felt pretty great this week. As far as hunger goes, some days very hungry in my head. Other days, 3PM rolls around and I remember I better get a shake in. Down 12 pounds since 3/9. Weight loss kind of stalled for a few days but have a feeling its due to constipation:(

Two days out. Doing ok. Still nauseated when trying to drink. I have real hunger as well but it is not overpowering at all.

3 days out and doing ok. I was able to finish a Protein Shake today, though it took an hour and a half. No chance of me meeting my 64oz goal but I continue my sips.
How long until I can get on the scale and see all of this surgery bloat and Water weight gone? I GAINED 7 lbs from the surgery, which I understand is mostly bloating due to the swelling. But when will I see the number slide back down?? A week post-op or longer?

3 Weeks out as of yesterday. On Puree stage now. Started work again on Monday and everything is good minus feeling dead tired by the end of the work day. 2 shakes plus a little Protein like yogurt, cottage cheese. My goal is about 90g of protein and my 64oz of Water. Besides that, all is good and getting in about 2 miles of walking in the late evening.

No. That was my starting weight back in may of last year from talking to my PCP about surgery. Surgery day I was 306 so 20lbs in 3 weeks.

Phew, I was thinking that is a really high bar for me to measure against. Thank you for the reality check.

OMG! That’s awesome!!! Out of curiosity, how much Protein and cals are you getting in? I’ve been stuck at 11 for several days. I average 650 cals and 90 protein.

I'm feeling great. Don't have any real issues with food - except I cannot tolerate eggs in any form....which makes me sad. Down 30lbs but have had an impacted colon twice! On Miralax but not always helpful. I have not had any issues moving from phase to phase. Start "regular" foods tomorrow! I was sleeved on 3/7.

I'm feeling pretty good! My surgery was March 12th and I'm down 30 pounds. Still a little bit sore when trying to sleep but not too bad.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
