How are fellow March sleevers doing?

I’m up and around and feeling fine. I sure am hungry, though. Real, not head hunger. I’m averaging 90 G protein and 600 calories. Down 11 lbs since 4/19.

I have felt pretty great this week. As far as hunger goes, some days very hungry in my head. Other days, 3PM rolls around and I remember I better get a shake in. Down 12 pounds since 3/9. Weight loss kind of stalled for a few days but have a feeling its due to constipation:(

I'm doing ok,down 28 pounds since surgery on 3/5...just ready to be 2,3 etc months post op so that the discomfort with eating and drinking gets better

Two days out. Doing ok. Still nauseated when trying to drink. I have real hunger as well but it is not overpowering at all.

That’s awesome!! Woo hoo!!!

3 days out and doing ok. I was able to finish a protein shake today, though it took an hour and a half. No chance of me meeting my 64oz goal but I continue my sips.
How long until I can get on the scale and see all of this surgery bloat and Water weight gone? I GAINED 7 lbs from the surgery, which I understand is mostly bloating due to the swelling. But when will I see the number slide back down?? A week post-op or longer?

3 Weeks out as of yesterday. On Puree stage now. Started work again on Monday and everything is good minus feeling dead tired by the end of the work day. 2 shakes plus a little protein like yogurt, cottage cheese. My goal is about 90g of protein and my 64oz of water. Besides that, all is good and getting in about 2 miles of walking in the late evening.

You lost 61 lbs in 3 weeks? You are rock star!

No. That was my starting weight back in may of last year from talking to my PCP about surgery. Surgery day I was 306 so 20lbs in 3 weeks.

Phew, I was thinking that is a really high bar for me to measure against. Thank you for the reality check.

Feeling good today! Still feel like I need an afternoon nap. Back to work on Monday.

OMG! That’s awesome!!! Out of curiosity, how much protein and cals are you getting in? I’ve been stuck at 11 for several days. I average 650 cals and 90 protein.

I'm feeling great. Don't have any real issues with food - except I cannot tolerate EGGS in any form....which makes me sad. Down 30lbs but have had an impacted colon twice! On Miralax but not always helpful. I have not had any issues moving from phase to phase. Start "regular" foods tomorrow! I was sleeved on 3/7.

I'm feeling pretty good! My surgery was March 12th and I'm down 30 pounds. Still a little bit sore when trying to sleep but not too bad.

I was sleeved/hernia repair on 3/16. I am down 16 lbs as of today and feel good other than being more tired than normal. I am walking at least 30 min a day, sometimes outside when the weather cooperates (it is snowing at the moment). My stomach still seems swollen but I am enjoying many firsts these days. I have lost 41 lbs overall and have been able to get into clothes and shoes that were too tight before. I was going to wear this cute white dress I purchased and had only worn once. My husband giggled when I put it on and told me it looked like I was wearing a huge napkin. I had to agree! My second choice was MUCH better. I have been going up and down 2 lbs for the past week. I am not very good at drinking but I am getting about 50oz water/protein drinks. I am doing great with protein and am on pureed foods. I have found my stomach can handle everything so far. I still am having issues with vitamins making me want to vomit, but I was able to stomach the iron chew last night for the first time, so that was a win too. I have had dreams the surgeon didn't remove enough of my stomach or didn't even do the surgery because eating seems too easy. I am looking forward to the next lbs to start dropping off. I want the new me now! :)
