People making decision difficult

Recommended Posts

Jiggly jiggy just want to weigh,in. Might be a semi- stretch but if you had an EGD and you turned out to gave a hiatus hernia which. A lot of us Plump Princesses do, it could be billed to insurance as a hiatal hernia repair and your bypass would be a happy hidden benefit. My own case I'll quote: I had what is called a preaurical cyst, it's like a reoccurant boil that festers up from time to time -leaked pus, nasty[emoji21] little booger. When I had my surgery, since I had never had one and it was a good thing to check, I had an EGD done transnasally by my ENT, she forwarded a report on her findings to my PCP, but as far as insurance knew she only billed it as Cyst Removal and United Healthcare paid without a quibble. Sometimes you have to beat the verdompt insurance companies at their own game.[emoji13]

Thank you guys for all of your insight. I’ve been leaning towards the surgery, and having your help with advice makes it easier for me.

Fluffychix, I wasn’t looking for someone to make a decision for me at all. I wouldn’t put the blame on anyone for anything except myself. It really comes down to me. I was just looking for some guidance because I was getting confused on what was best for me. Coming here and hearing from people that are going through something similar helps a lot. Makes me think more clear. I spoke with my therapist about it and she’s totally on board with me going through with the surgery and told me to listen to myself and no one else. I’m honestly just easily persuaded. So when my friend that’s a trainer told me that I have the ability to do it without the surgery and giving me pep talks it got me confused and I just needed some advice.

I’m extremely grateful for all of the wonderful and helpful responses. Thank you guys.

Exercise can't do it all, diet can't do it all, I believe you need the surgery to complete the change in your life. And once you have that tool to work with, your goals will be met. It still will take hard work and the strenght to stick it out to the finish, but it is doable if you really try and try and try.😛

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
