Don't freak out.

Buy a pregnancy test. Piss on it, and feel better:)

Yes, it's very common to have menstrual irregularities with any major surgery.

Mine has been all over the place since surgery and I am even on the pill to " regulate" it. I would just take a pregnancy test to make sure it is negative but I think it is normal for your period to be irregular after.

Well I thertainly hope not, I missed the star in the East the last time. Besides Bariatric Surgeons tend to,get bent out of shape by such proceedings. That's why they caution against pregnancy for 18 months, you have to get healthy yourself before you go incubating another generation. I know major surgery can make you erratic as all get out but most, ladies on here complain about too much, not too little. If Auntie Flo doesn't make a visit before the end of the month maybe you, need to visit the gynecologist. Best to you.

Your body has gone through a major surgery. Your cycle is bound to be late. If you took a pregnancy test, prior to surgery and it came back negativity than most likely you are not pregnant. I would suggest waiting until the end of the week and then taking a home pregnancy test.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
