I use the metric system

I’m 5’4 female
H/o hypothyroidism & poly cystic ovaries.

I weighed 122 kgs pre op, dropped to 117 after one week of shake and then now dropped to 105, but this loss was over immediate 3 months. Surgery was on August 25, haven’t lost weight since October end. So November - feb no weight loss at all. December was a mess cuz I was out of country but yeah. Idk. I was telling my best friend I feel like I did all this to lose 15 kgs. But I also need to exercise more & eat right .
Anyway it’s a win cuz you don’t gain & also you eat less which is good for over all health.

You work at.. a Cafe... Lol so can't drink Water ? When you said you can't drink Water thought you were a surgeon. Think you can manage it some. How lol on the account of water being s basic need.

I'm totally on the same boat as you i had surgery about 2 and a half months ago and I have stalled for over 4- 5 weeks. I have lost 28 pounds including preop which was less than a week. I do my best to eat 1000-1100 calories a day so my body doesn't go into starvation mode. I haven't been able to incorporate any exercise yet because I go to school full time and work full time (I know excuses are excuses but I honestly have no time). I talked to my nutritionist and she said I should keep my carbs below 50 grams/day and try including healthy fats like olive oil, avocado, Salad Dressing etc. I lost 3-4 pounds the first week I did that, but I'm back on a stall now. It's super frustrating as I feel I'm the only one who's going through this and had surgery to loose less than 30 pounds.

So no you're not alone :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
