I'm having my surgery April 18th! So close, but so far away.

April 18th pending insurance approval! [emoji4]

I'm March 6th! :D

I find out my surgery date next week. When I started my program they were targeting early to mid-March as long as all my pre-requisites were fulfilled, and they are; so fingers crossed!

I will have all my pre consults and nutrition classes completed March 2nd and have hopes for an April date.

Welcome aussieslady, we seem to be getting a lot of people from "down under" even have BiddyNZ from New Zealand. Tell us,more about yourself if you like. I am in Central Ohio about 14 miles from the Geographic Center. I plan a early-mid March at Mount Carmel in Columbus Ohio..I am a future RnY, widowed 5 1/2 years, my main support person my son who I call my Tomkitten, his real name is Bryan.

I am 72 years old, yes a little old to compete in the Bariatric Rodeo. But I'm going to make sure I can be successful. Columbus is 50 miles hmm 80 km? from where i live. A cool rainy morning where I live, on the Olympics Russia is ahead 4 -0 over USA in ice hockey Not looking too good for my side. Wish they'd go to,freestyle ski, This isn't too much fun to watch.

So where in Australia do you live? You're in your summer so it might be warm and sunny there. I think we have people from NSW, South Australia, and think someone from Brisbane a while back.

Is there anyone out there ready to brave the Winds of March or the Showers of April just to get your surgery? Any one share the same day?

I don’t have my surgery date scheduled yet but it will be the end of March or first of April.

Hi animalrescuer, it's not too early to get into training. Ditch high carb snacks, lower cola, sodas and coffee until they are gone completely. If you can't go cold turkey on coffee, go,to half caff then decaf and then phase it out. Lower fats in your diet. Fish and chicken and turkey, instead of red, meats and pork. Bake, broil and microwave instead of fried. Yeah I'm not as perfect as I should be, I know better I just don't do better. Are you, looking forward to surgery? i know I am, I get awfullly, impatient for the actual day.

Hello and thank you for the warm welcome. I am from the states. Born and raised in Florida (near Daytona) and my husband is the Aussie. He is from the Melbourne area.
