My program will cancel anyone who gains any weight over a couple of pounds. They also have a 7 month wait. So for 7 months you have to watch what you eat to show you are serious. I've been in my program for 2.5 months and I am down 12lbs, but they also put me on Saxenda to help assist me. Not gonna lie, I work out and try to eat better. It's hard though. If it was easy we wouldn't be here. Good luck to you!!

Just had my pre-op class this week, I had gained a couple of pounds. I did eat things I shouldn’t have during the holidays, but I am back on a routine. Surgery date is 2/7/18 and I am super excited,scared,emotional...... our program says that you can only be within a 5 lbs of your pre-op goal weight. I wish you all the luck in the world and think you will be fine just do better this week. Remember take it day by day.

I'm on a 6 mth program with no assistance....I'm still 2 lbs under my original weight...so I'm still good...just have to be more careful

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
