Where Am I at 2 Months 5 Days out

Recommended Posts

I can eat "real" food; that said, I have not had any sugar or corn Syrup products. I have not gone into anything with heavy oil. And if something sounds queasy when I think about eating it, not going there yet.

Successful food: pretty much everything I've tried, which includes eating out (with great caution and a take out box for the next 3 meals of leftovers). Again, cautious.

Problem: I still forget and eat too fast and feel queasy or "froth". As unpleasant as both are, I think I'm learning confused.png

Weight: Down 44.8 lbs Inches: 33" gone (I measure every Saturday.

Size: From a 16 to a 10 (which means nothing since sizes vary so much.

Health: Seems good; had labs done this week, but results not back. Found out I discontinued two meds I'm not supposed to (blood thinnere plus aspirin as I have CAD and stroke history). AND caught some kind of bug in the waiting room.

Basically very happy camper! (No s'mores)

You've done amazing. I didn't actually cook with oil till 4 months for whatever reason I just didn't want the added fat. It's not hiddered my weightloss which I was afraid of.

With eating fast try and dedicate time to your meal and say you will eat over a course of time.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
