Anyone scheduled for surgery in January 2018? I'm booked in for the 12th. Would be nice to chat to people in the same stage x

Hi! How are you doing? Which type did you have? I’d love to hear your experience with it...

Hi there. I had the VSG. It’s only been a few days since surgery on the 18th. I was in a lot of pain at first and had trouble with the pain medicines making me feel worse. I’ve since stopped taking the pain meds and feel so much better. The Gas is awful so I’m going to buy some gas x strips today. I finished my whole protein shake yesterday. It took the whole day to do that and the water. But I did it! I’m happy I decided to do this. I can’t wait to see results. How are you doing? Have you had the surgery yet?

My surgery was on January 18th. I’d love a buddy or two.

Mine too

Well I survived and now starting day 1 of my new life. Hope you all are feeling good and positive. Thank also for tips for the post-op!

Great Marc, only good things in store for you, you've made it in maybe 6 weeks I will too. Take it easy and stay breezy, my friend.

Yeah I was a bit of a diva and demanded sips of water in the recovery room lol! Just couldn't quench my thirst and ended up demanding chapstick LOL! I guess I was still a bit high.xx

Haha, I totally understand that. I can’t stop sipping now. 1 More day in the hospital and then back to the real world.
