  3. No pain at all today, which I am thankful for.
  4. Urvashi!!! I follow your Two Sleevers International InstantPot Fb group. I had surgery last Thursday. One of the last meals I made before my liquid diet pre-surgery was butter chicken and the other ground beef with cabbage shawarma. When I’m allowed food again in a few weeks I’ll be turning to your recipes. I had VSG surgery 4 days ago.

  6. Hi there. I had the VSG. It’s only been a few days since surgery on the 18th. I was in a lot of pain at first and had trouble with the pain medicines making me feel worse. I’ve since stopped taking the pain meds and feel so much better. The Gas is awful so I’m going to buy some gas x strips today. I finished my whole protein shake yesterday. It took the whole day to do that and the water. But I did it! I’m happy I decided to do this. I can’t wait to see results. How are you doing? Have you had the surgery yet?
  7. While at the recovery and wellness center I alternated between Tylenol with codeine and Demerol. It helped a lot. Now that I’ve adjusted I find I don’t need much Tylenol at all. None so far today.
  8. That’s great you never had bad pain. Mine isn’t bad now which is a godsend. I haven’t been sleeping well since surgery.
  9. Tramadol is awful. My doctor told me to take children’s Tylenol if I need anything. I bought some just in case but haven’t had to use it so far today.
  10. That’s amazing you didn’t have any pain. I did at first. Yesterday I took Tylenol once. I don’t think I’ll need it today.

  12. I was prescribed a Tylenol with codeine elixir after surgery. It didn’t cut it so, they gave me Demerol shots at the wellness center I stayed in after surgery. I asked my doctor for something stronger and was prescribed gabapentin and tramadol. I can’t take gabapentin as it causes my heart to race, and the tramadol, though crushed, was painful to swallow when mixed with my protein shake or water. It also gave me a killer headache. I felt worse than I did immediately after surgery. I stopped taking the tramadol and feel so much better. I don’t even need pain pills and I’m 3days post-op. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
  13. My surgery was on January 18th. I’d love a buddy or two.
  14. I’m 3 days post-op. My tongue scraper isn’t even helping the white tongue I’ve developed. Glad to know it’s temporary.
