Why did I gain weight

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved two weeks ago today. I am following my doctor's orders to a tee. I am only weighing once a week. I actually gained 2 pounds this week....seriously? I was so disappointed when I got on the scale this morning. If I wasn't following the orders exactly I could understand - BUT I AM. Helppppp!

Do not give up it has only been two weeks remember that you are still bloated from all the medication. Be patient and everything will fall into place. R today marks my one year anniversary my highest weight was 208 and my current weight is 132 and it was all worth the wait. I know that I'd time it can get frustrating

Don’t let it get to you! Happened to me and I was also very careful to follow doctor’s orders. You have swelling, bloating, etc. let your body settle down a bit and I’m sure things will begin moving in the right direction again. Try to get your Water in...very important! It’s all going to be just fine!

Are you getting enough fluids in ??

It's not fat you gained so don't worry. I wouldn't even be weighing this early as your still healing.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
