I'm not sure why I just had a 1/4 cup of chocolate ice cream.. I just did. My son begged to go get ice cream. I wasn't planning to have some but I ordered A kiddi scoop. Probably less than 1/4 cup. But now I feel so guilty. I think I forgot I had sleeve surgery. I've been eating so healthy so I don't know what happened only that I've been feeling so normal- like these small portions are normal and maybe that's why. Now I'm hoping I didn't screw it all up:(

One bit of ice cream won't screw anything up. You just can't make it regular.

It's all about how everyday choices add up. Keep making those good choices and stick with your eating plan and you can weather any bump.

Its just a bite. It happens. Even to the most devoted. Just do not get caught up in the indulgences because that will be your downfall. A little ice cream every now and again is okay. Even the healthiest people in the world will admit that they indulge from time to time. As long as you jump right back into Healthy eating mode, you will be fine.

My wife and kid are both ice cream addicts. I bought a small container of Halo Top Sea Salt Caramel and when they have full on fat/sugar ice cream, I have a little of that. It let's me feel like I'm not being left out, but has way less calories, carbs, sugar, etc. And it's pretty good. Even that stuff, I only have maybe once a week, but it's a nice treat.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
