October 18th my husband and I are having the gastric sleeve! Very anxious!

My husband had his on October 3rd and mine is on October 17th.
Good luck to you both !

56.5 hours at hospital over.

Surgery was approx 8am Thursday 12th.

With Surgeon's permission and hospital 'in tune', I was sent home after 3pm Saturday 14th.

(Now Sunday 15 th and the time is 12:30am ... woken up after extended post dinner nap.)

Thanks for all previous comments and support.

My husbands incisions were really red when he was leaving the hospital. I asked them to double check them. They did and said that it was normal especially the one were they pulled the specimen ( stomach) out. They also said if it got worse, except for possible bruising causing it, to call them. They healed a little each day until no more red.

Okay thank you. I was thinking it could have been from pants I wore while on my walk. I felt like they were maybe rubbing on them some. I didn't know if I should bother my surgeon today about it or not.

Hope everyone is doing well!! I'm post op 2 day! My experience at A Slimmer me in Mexico has been great. I am on my last day in the recovery house and go back home tomorrow. Gas pain has been very minimal, I'm sore but getting fluids in [emoji846]

10 days to surgery! Started pre op diet today!

10 days post surgery. I am ready for some soft foods! Can not believe I have one more week to go! I am sick of soups and shakes!

Oct.13 so nervous it's Friday the 13th ??‍♀️

I was the 13th too! At 7:30am I was home the next day by 1pm. Everything went great! I hope yours did too!

I've been having them since last month. Lol. Surgery is Oct. 17th.

I two amazing egg rolls before I started my pre-op liquids. They were great. [emoji23]

Good for you. I am 5 days post surgery today and it has been a world of difference today. I got some soup down, more water and about 45 grams so far of protein. Feel much better too. I am hoping this will flush out the fluids they filled me full of during hospital so my weight will go back to what it was day of surgery and start losing.

Four days for me.

Ist day after (9am Thur - 7am Fri) was all water and tiny ice pieces.

2nd day after (Fri 7am - 11pm) was three identical "meals": 110mL unsweetened apple juice, 120mL portion of dutch chocolate protein shake, 120mL of sugar-free Cottees GI lime coola mix-up cordial and 120mL of sugar-free Cottees lemon mix-up. Snack 1 and Snack 3 were both 150mL of cold 2% fat milk with a level teaspoon of decaf instant coffee. Snack 2 was 150mL strained cream of mushroom soup.

3rd day after (Sat 6am -3pm) was almost identical to the previous day. No evening meal and no evening snack as I was sent home before 4pm.

It all went down well ... no pain ... good sipping as I was tutored to do.

My Saturday night/evening was two protein shakes fortified with liquid egg whites.

My Sunday was five protein shakes, a pumpkin soup, several peppermint teas, some diet raspberry jelly (jello) and two 250mL serves of unsweetened almond milk.

It's now Monday 12:25pm. I started today with an egg-white fortified strawberry protein shake. Mid-morning was a blended 'smoothie' of 250mL of unsweetened almond milk with 105g frozen mango and 35g frozen berries. Just now, I had a kids' tropical flavour high-protein yoghurt.
