When did everyone begin increasing their calories?

I am only two months out and lately have been eating 900 kcals. But I'm doing Keto and the fat in my foods bumps it up.

I'm also three months out soon and hover around 500-700 calories a day. I don't think I could eat more as I struggle with solid foods as it is. I really would love some rotisserie chicken soon without throwing up.

I almost wish I couldn't eat anything. It's a blessing and a curse.

I'm at 5 1/2 months and usually get about 1100-1400. Been around there since about the end of month 3.

Hi do you get a good weight loss with that many calories? I'm exercising every day at the moment and am so hungry all the time but I'm scared to eat more in case I stop losing or worse still put it on. Thanks

Apparently I'm in the top percentile for weight loss at my doc's office, so yes! Lost 97 pounds in about 6 months so far. I was worried about it too, but my doc said to eat as much as I like during my three meals and if there's a weight loss issue to re-asses. So far it's been excellent!

Yes have to agree that was my experience also I would have approx 1000 Calories a day sometimes 1800 and I was losing weight during the honeymoon phase which ends around 9 months. I recorded everything I ate in MyFitnessPal - now too lazy.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
