I am looking to start my pre-op right after Labor Day. I know this sounds bad, but I am wanting to spend time with friends Labor Day weekend having a bit fun (while really trying to watching what I eat) and kind of considering it my farewell to the food I like for a few months while in post-op. I am having a bit of a hard time with this, a very hard time even though I am psyched about having a new life. Pre-op will be hard, but I understand after a few days it gets easier. Not an excuse by any means, but I am a Kansas Boy raised with the usual country foods, meat, potatoes, gravy, home made bread, etc. Feedback?

I totally know how you feel, I kind of did the same with the alcohol, and those nights of fun and dining. Last night a cheated a bit I had 3 cups of vodka [emoji85] and I had a home made taco salad.
