  1. You are so right, but it's so hard I tired my butt off but I can't seem to eat all the food! It's a work in progress and in doing ok! I have an app to track my intake and I'm not even close to the 800_900 a day!
  2. Hey guy, hope all is well on your ends! So is it only me or have any of you lost desired for food? I was sleeved in 9/19 I have lost approximately 30 plus pounds! I have not been eating like I should, food doesn't call my attention anymore, the things I used to LOVE too eat get me feeling disgusted. I'm losing interested in chicken, and other meats! I find everything to be extremely salty. Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it last? I'm not reaching my calorie intake, At all !! Although the pounds are at a stall I see the inches coming off! This is a bit overwhelming! Even around the time of the months my craving have vanished! My love for popcorn is still there [emoji5]
  3. Is such an overwhelming/embarrassing topic to touch with you family, and is that moment when you don't want to here the "I told you so" but then again is such a Shi*ty feeling! I guess the surgery hormones plus my emotional state of my marriage just has be all over the place! And this isn't the time! As is I've had a hard time eating now it much worst.
  4. I'm trying, and I just get a stomach. I guess my nerves have gotten the best of me.
  5. Thanks so much! I just feel physically drained!
  6. Hey Guys, I currently going through a messy breakup, unfortunately I have no appetite what so ever! Everything is make me sick to my stomach, I can't manage to eat nothing! I know I must eat but I can't for the life of me, I could hardly drink water! I don't want to send myself to the hospital but his is uncontrollable! Please help!
  7. The worst feeling ever! But managed my way to them!
  8. I'm 6 wks out and I myself have broken a few rule, I have had like two chip, I've had my rum with a splash of cranberry juice. Other then that I've been ok, I must say I have lost interest to a lot of the foods I used to love, I'm still having some trouble here and there getting my protein in, I feel like meat doesn't taste the same to me! Neither does chicken! I've grown a love for tuna that I never had, actually had that for dinner wrapped in lettuce it was great! I'm still on this stupid stall and stuck at 237. But otherwise I have been adjusting.
  9. I had the same feeling after surgery, my doctor wanted to do an EKG to make sure all was well, but then she ran it by another doctor who stated this feel is totally normal and to keep walking and keeping hydrated! But yes call ur Doc, and best of luck!
  10. You will stop eating October 31, midnight so you last drink of water food etc will be at 11:59pm on 10/31/17. Best of luck!
  11. Amazing video! It make a lot of sense
  12. Hey 9/19 here! Feeling ok! I guess... 5wks out and I haven't lost much weight about 20pd Surgery 9/19/17 HW 273 SW 256 CW 237.6 I'm currently walking about 4.5 miles a day, constantly going up and down stairs so I'm pretty active! As far as my eating intake, I'm still struggling with my intake I recognize I'm not eating enough! I do find that I'm able to have a good hearty breakfast without any issue once lunch time and snacks come around I can't do it! I've been drink my water, my doc has keep me off dairy but not I have been able to tolerate again! I haven't had a protein shake in about 2wks! Can this be the cause of my "stall" not enough protein? I see everyone dropping the pounds and I'm starting to feel a sense of regret! I'm doing everything possible I know everyone is different just thought I would lose it much faster! Although I do see inches coming off!
  13. Wonder the same for a ****** smoker (known as shesha)! I personally do not like the vape pens I prefer to prepare from scratch.
  14. Congratulations! We have the same surgery date! Things have been ok for me! I'm starting to intake a little bit more food now, and some days are good other day are rough! But I'm seeing the difference in my cloth, my faces and over all, all around! Good luck to us!
  15. I had a sip or two of beer last weekend and boy was it satisfying [emoji16]
  16. Your stomach will let you know! Well at least for me it has! My throat gets knotted up,as if I had food stuck, and I feel the food siting right on my stomach this happens with just a few spoons of whatever I'm eating. I wait about 15-20min to continue my meal! Is not a pretty fun feeling feeling full and having to throw up
  17. Good luck all will be well! And welcome to the journey!
  18. How many hours in between are you having your meals?
  19. Too normal for my liking [emoji85]! I'm going at least 3-4 x a day pretty annoying if you ask me.
  20. Same boat 9/19 and haven't lost a pound! I've been getting my fluids in, protein as much as I can! I was told to stay away from dairy so I'm not getting my shakes in!
  21. I understand, The fish sticks where not fried they where baked, I guess looking at it from the outside it does sound like a bit much for my new stomach! I guess I'm so scared of not eating my protein and getting myself sick, that I'm rushing to eating things that my stomach may not be ready for! On another note my mom made me a very hearty consomé, with chicken bones celery, carrots, and all those other good stuff, and boy let me tell you that was one good picker upper! That lift me up I felt renew! [emoji5]
  22. Sorry to hear about your depression but hang in there buddy your doing awesome we in this for a reason! Yes we love food but now we have to love it differently! Well sure pass this!
  23. I understand! And no the fish sticks where baked! Even before surgery fried food doesn't sit well with my stomach! I have a very sensitive stomach.
  24. It's unbelievable to me how in 1 day your life can change in a blink of an eye! I know is for my best but, it's a little overwhelming to know the ways to get your protein and the nutrients one needs but you'll unable to eat them as you please without having pain or a bad case of runs! Lol! I do pray this gets better because it's pretty scary knowing your are not eating as you should!
